Pa Forsberg a.k.a. Ramone and Ma Collins a.k.a Lydia decided to show the kids how to play Mexican Horse Races. By the 12th round we had just about every single person at the trek involved including the Stake President. And I'm pretty sure the kids will remember this night for the rest of their lives :)

An early preview of some of our trek participants. All would have made good-looking pioneers!! Making a fast trip to Flagstaff to take some cobbler makings to the camp and bring Tanner home from scout camp I learned that the first day of travel wqs very dusty for all--and everyone was very tired when they finally made camp. No sign of the pioneer women or Steve----they must be busy on the trail...

We had a great time at Lake Powell. We have enjoyed reading and looking at your pictures on your blog. (even Steph, haha) I will have a post soon. Thanks for all the hard work that was put in. We are so excited for Lake Powell. (7 weeks)

Congrats grad!

Way to go Carley!! She looked really pretty at graduation and also won Athlete of the Year for those who hadn't heard yet!! Now, only 8 more years of school to go!!

Happy Mother's Day

I don't want to drive up to the pearly gates in a shiny sports car, wearing beautifully tailored clothes, my hair expertly coiffed, and with long, perfectly manicured fingernails. I want to drive up in a station wagon that has mud on the wheels from taking kids to scout camp. I want to be there with a smudge of peanut butter on my shirt from making sandwiches for a sick neighbor's children. I want to be there with a little dirt under my fingernails from helping to weed someone's garden. I want to be there with childrens sticky kisses on my cheeks and the tears of a friend on my shoulder. I want the Lord to know I was really here and that I really lived.
