Lydia
Pa Forsberg a.k.a. Ramone and Ma Collins a.k.a Lydia decided to show the kids how to play Mexican Horse Races. By the 12th round we had just about every single person at the trek involved including the Stake President. And I'm pretty sure the kids will remember this night for the rest of their lives :)

An early preview of some of our trek participants. All would have made good-looking pioneers!! Making a fast trip to Flagstaff to take some cobbler makings to the camp and bring Tanner home from scout camp I learned that the first day of travel wqs very dusty for all--and everyone was very tired when they finally made camp. No sign of the pioneer women or Steve----they must be busy on the trail...Friday, June 11, 2010

Happy Mother's Day
I don't want to drive up to the pearly gates in a shiny sports car, wearing beautifully tailored clothes, my hair expertly coiffed, and with long, perfectly manicured fingernails. I want to drive up in a station wagon that has mud on the wheels from taking kids to scout camp. I want to be there with a smudge of peanut butter on my shirt from making sandwiches for a sick neighbor's children. I want to be there with a little dirt under my fingernails from helping to weed someone's garden. I want to be there with childrens sticky kisses on my cheeks and the tears of a friend on my shoulder. I want the Lord to know I was really here and that I really lived.

correct quote
Bp. Wolf's correct quote is "If your lot is unhappy, build a service station on it." That makes much more sense now.. Guess I shouldn't try to post early in the morning before I am really awake and alert. and the last thought that this post makes me think about is how grateful I am that all my family give so much service to one another and to so many others.. Giving service is a key element in one's own happiness. Thank you all for your good example.....
Sunday event
Visited Black Canyon ward yesterday. Congratulations to their new Bishop--Al Wolf. He said this---=If your lot is empty, build a gas station on it...an interesting thought. It was nice to see Jason and family, Cosima and Sabrina there. Pres. Forsberg hgave a couple of thoughts on family dinneyou can ask him...
