Sean finally passed his kidney stone yesterday! It was not a fun couple of days for him. When we were with the triage nurse at Thunderbird-she asked Sean on a scale of 1-10 how bad is your pain. Sean's reply was "it's the worst pain I've ever had--I want to say 10 but I can't say 10 because I have heard that breaking your femur bone is the worst pain you can have so I will say 9--I can't claim femur bone pain." It got a laugh from everyone--nice he could still have some humor with all the pain he was in.
