When you were ready to make your appearance, you wern't going to wait for much, so you were almost born at the intersection of 59th ave and Northern. Fortunately Dad went fast and I made it into the hospit and you were born 10 minutes later and have been going full speed ever since. It's a good thing it was a small hospital and not very busy that afternoon. Lucky the Dr. was in the hospital teaching a class, because he made it into the delivery room with only one arm in the jacket, gloves on and no mask (the old days of delivery) and caught you in one hand as you made your appearance. Dad was standing by, fully decked out in hospital clothing and sweating and the Doctor said--you should have had him do the delivery, he is dressed for it... So happy birthday wendy-you have been keeping us going ever since delivery and we have loved every minute.
